Intellect Architecture

Intellect 3.0 is comprised of an on-site suite of tools and a real-time server running on Windows as a service.

Intellect at its very roots is a technical architecture upon which tools are placed so that you may make use of Intellect's technology. The architecture includes context and variable definitions, data access, across-source data synchronization, extensive data preprocessing, modeling, prediction, performance management, decision-making, causal analytics, optimization, anomaly detection and alerting. Intellect also contains an on-board "object" historian that can archive, through time most any object, including of course data.

In order to make use of the above capabilities, we provide numerous tools:

Intellect Server
A behind-the scenes run-time that hosts your solutions in real-time and also holds the context and variable meta-data.

Intellect Console
A tool to configure and operate the Intellect Server.

Expert
A tool to define and manage contexts and variables, define data access schemes, data preprocessing schemes, construct/validate/document predictive models and save them to disk to run within the Intellect Server.

Designer
A tool to graphically design solutions that will run within the Intellect Server.

Anomaly
A tool to develop, pre-load and test anomaly detection schemes.

iImprove
A tool that "inverts" Expert's models to seek setpoints (controllable variables) given values for current conditions (uncontrollable variables) to achieve one or more objectives given limits, desirabilities and costs.

Microsoft Windows XP / Windows Server 2003 (32 bit only), Vista / Windows Server 2008 (32 bit only), Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit), Microsoft .NET 3.5

Third Party Software

You May Need To Install OSISoft PI API (if needing to connect to a PI Server) and/or the Oracle Client (if needing to connect to Oracle).

Hardware

The hardware requirements vary vastly depending on the application, scope, complexity, and level of functionality. Systems can run on laptops found at your local computer store or may require large high capacity rack-mounted servers.
